Keeping a food diary can help you SEE exactly what you put in your body. The main thing you should do is jot down what you ave consumed. You don't necessarily have to get into how many cups or ounces of mayonnaise you ate. Just take simple note. At the end of the day, look at it. You'll be very surprised at WHAT you've decided to eat. Once you are conscious of these facts, you'll be more able to make dietary changes.

Very much true. Ive never been a junk eater, but whenever I decide I wanna drop a few pounds I just pay closer attention to what I consume. My problem is actually not eating enough. So I have to consciously eat healthy snacks throughout the day.
